As with many things in life, carpeting should be handled by a professional. Someone trained and knowledgeable in this field. Hiring an unexperienced carpet cleaning company, just because their prices are low, puts you the consumer at a very HIGH risk of not just dirtier carpets sooner but possibly ruining your floor all together. 

As for the question at hand, the answer is NO. That is unless of course the carpet cleaner you hire is not responsible, trained and understanding of carpet care needs. In that case the answer might fall into the “yes” category. By using the proper treatments on your carpet and even adding a carpet protector your carpets should not soil or get dirty faster. 

So ALWAYS make sure to hire a company that is trained and can show proof of certification. Make sure they have and posses a copy of their current insurance. And most importantly don’t hire them just because they are cheap. It will cost you more in the long run.
