I have realized there are too many scams going on out there for consumers to be able to “trust” just anyone in their home. One’s home is a sanctuary and should be treated as such. Unfortunately it’s all to common nowadays that people are being taking advantage of. If you haven’t been, I’m sure you know someone who has. Imagine how this feels. I’ve been a victim of it and have been burned up about it.

It is so disheartening to think people are being taking advantage of. Your friends, your neighbors and in some cases your family members. What are we to do? Law enforcement isn’t gonna do it. Lawyer’s are gonna cost your tons of money and then no REAL justice is served. Are you gonna personally go after them? It almost seems as if it is a lost cause….

Ever see those ads for $4.95 to $9.99 and expect to pay that? Well think again. There may be additional charges you don’t know about unless you read the small print. Such as “carpet pre-treatment extra” “subject to travel fees.”

What can happen if you don’t ask questions?

• You may take time from work for your appointment
• You spend valuable time preparing your home for the cleaning
• You expect to have your carpets cleaned in the time allotted for the price you were offered

If you don’t research these companies for reviews on-line you may… Be told your carpets will not look clean if you only pay for the $4.95 per room cleaning. You will need to pay more for special services to get the clean carpets you are looking for. You have just become a victim of bait and switch. These types of companies bank on the fact you will just give in and pay the extra money.

This video is from a carpet repair in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. This job comes from a client the has their carpets cleaned every few months. They do this because they realize the importance of preserving their investment and to give a clean and healthy appearance to their clients when they visit. By calling me early enough to fix the damaged caused at the seam of their carpeting, I was able to save them thousands of dollars by not having to replace their carpet.
